ELYWARE keeps data collection small. The downloaded Video Mixer app does not need an account, does not upload your media and does not include telemetry.
Website visits and downloads
ELYWARE measures anonymous, aggregate page views, browser-tab visits and clicks on Video Mixer download links so we can understand interest in the beta and improve the site. The measurement request contains only a fixed page label, a fixed download-platform label and whether a visit has already been counted in the current tab. ELYWARE does not store an IP address, user agent, referrer, query string, cookie, account identifier or cross-site identifier in its analytics store. The counter is disabled when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.
This website is hosted by Netlify. Netlify processes ordinary request information such as an IP address, browser or device details, requested paths, response status and time to deliver the site, prevent abuse and operate the hosting service. ELYWARE does not place advertising or analytics cookies or load a third-party analytics script.
Beta update emails
If you email us to request beta updates, ELYWARE receives the email address you use. We use it only for product and beta updates. We do not sell it. You can ask to be removed at any time by emailing hello@elyware.net.
Local preferences
The website stores your light or dark theme preference in your browser. It also stores a temporary yes-or-no flag in session storage so a visit is counted only once per browser tab; the flag is cleared when the tab session ends and is never sent as an identifier. Video Mixer stores theme and session preferences locally on your computer. These preferences are not sent to ELYWARE.
Your media in Video Mixer
Video Mixer reads the files you choose on your computer and makes them available only to the local mixer running on that machine. ELYWARE does not receive your media, playlists or session files.
